On Saturday, September 19, some of the Juliana’s will be heading up to Orvis Sandanona for the first day of the Orvis Game Fair & Sporting Weekend . This annual event is a fan favorite!

Did you say shopping? Orvis brings in dozens of vendors showcasing the latest in outdoor sporting gear. If you prefer to be more active, the weekend includes opportunities to shoot sporting clays, try your hand at fly casting, and tackle the Defender Experience Driving Course. Also not to be missed are the tastings with local area farmers, distilleries, vineyards and breweries.

But wait, there’s more!! The Game Fair will have a number of activations including fly-casting, falconry and gun dog demonstrations. Not to be missed will be celebrity activations with Pete Kutzer and Tom Rosenbauer. That is where you will find Anne-Marie (IYKYK). If you haven’t already listened to Tom’s podcast “The Orvis Fly-Fishing Podcast,” we highly recommend it!!

Cost: This event is $10 per day and tickets can be purchased through the Orvis website. The ticket comes with a $10 coupon to their retail store, so the cost is effectively a wash.…though we can’t be held responsible for what you purchase as part of your retail therapy!
