We’re excited to offer a live Zoom knots and rigging class with the one and only Tim Flagler, whose thoughtful approach and attention to detail have made him a standout educator in the fly fishing world. This interactive session will focus on trout-specific knots and rigging systems, giving anglers practical tools they can immediately take to the water.
The class will cover alternative knots to our familiar standbys—such as the triple surgeon’s knot and the standard cinch knot—highlighting easy, effective ways to tie them, when and why to use them, and how they can improve efficiency and performance on the water. Tim will also share creative rigging solutions with a trout-focused mindset, helping anglers adapt to varying conditions and scenarios.
Tim has developed a specific flow for this class and prefers to keep it streamlined and hands-on. Participants will supply their own materials, and a detailed materials list will be provided in advance so everyone can rig along in real time.
This Zoom class is designed to be engaging, approachable, and highly practical, whether you’re looking to refine your existing systems or expand your rigging toolkit. Comparable in-person versions of this class often run significantly higher, making this a great opportunity to learn directly from Tim at an excellent value.
