Winter on the Hudson brings more than brisk air and quiet waters — it brings the majestic return of the Bald Eagle! Join us for a beautiful day celebrating these iconic birds at the annual Hudson River EagleFest, hosted by Teatown Lake Reservation. This long-running festival spotlights the bald eagle’s winter migration and offers fun and educational experiences for all ages.
The festival features live bird shows with birds of prey, eagle-spotting walks along the river with spotting scopes, heated tents filled with educational exhibits, crafts and games for kids, local food trucks, and plenty of opportunities to learn about raptors and conservation efforts in the Hudson Valley. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious, EagleFest brings you up close with nature at one of the best times of year to see eagles in action.
This year’s event will take place Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY (snow date: Sunday, February 8).
Registration: Please register with JASC so we can get an accurate head count for attendees. Tickets are not provided by JASC and must be purchased separately through Teatown at the following link:
