We’re heading to one of Westchester’s most beautiful hidden gems — Rockefeller State Park Preserve! Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the Preserve encompasses more than 1,000 acres of rolling meadows, forests, wetlands, and historic carriage roads. With its stunning landscapes, abundant birdlife, and miles of scenic trails, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a crisp November day outdoors.

We’ll meet at 8:30 AM and set out on a leisurely hike through the Preserve, taking in the late-fall scenery and keeping an eye out for the many birds and wildlife that call the park home. After our hike, we’ll stop for a brown-bag picnic lunch and enjoy some time together before wrapping up the day.

We recommend dressing warmly and in layers, with comfortable, waterproof hiking boots. Don’t forget your binoculars or camera, a bagged lunch, and plenty of water in your reusable water bottle!
