This is an entirely new event! We’ll begin our day at a leisurely 11 am on Saturday, June 30, at Audubon Sharon, 325 Cornwall Bridge Road, Sharon, CT 06069 for a curated hour long lecture about the birds in and around the rivers we fish. the lecturer is a local fly fisher and bird expert. After the lecture we’ll dine stream side along the Housatonic River and then meet our guide for an afternoon of fishing. We’re going to have a brown bag lunch, so you can either bring your meal from home or pick something up along the way at a local deli. We’ll fish until dusk and then head out. Some will opt to stop for dinner at a local restaurant, while others will head home. Either way you’ll still have Sunday to relax before beginning the work week.
