Juliana's Anglers is a women's fly fishing club based in New York City. The purpose of our club is to encourage all women interested in fly fishing to enjoy the sport with other women by making fishing accessible through education, conservation, planned activities, and events. Founded in 1995 by Nancy Zakon and other fly fishing enthusiasts, Juliana's welcomes women at all levels of the sport, from the curious who have never held a rod, to avid fishers who spend as much time on the water as on land. Comprising more than 60 women who enjoy the sport, Juliana's Anglers holds monthly meetings at the Orvis store in Manhattan. The club runs one- and two-day trips to local waters throughout the fishing season and sponsors a Spring Warm-Up weekend designed to introduce beginners to the sport, and ready more experienced anglers for the new season. Membership is open to any woman, aged 18 or older, who is interested in fly fishing and is $35 per year. Annual memberships run from April 1st to March 31st of the following year. Benefits of membership in the Juliana’s Anglers are many.
We invite women who are interested in our club to join us at one of our monthly meetings. If you would like to join now, please fill out the application form , make your check payable to 'Juliana's Anglers' for $35.00 and mail both to:
